Doesn’t stick to felt Without heating this tape is not at all sticky. It becomes sticky once it’s hot. I used it to patch a hole in the felt in under the tiles in the roof of my house. It doesn’t stick to felt, even after heating. Strange. I thought it might have been perfect for the job. So I gave it 3 stars because it was really sticky after heating. So maybe it will stick to other things

Cheap, easy fix for leaky roofs! This stuff is fabulous (according to Mr Lomax!). We had leaking retaining bolts on our garage roof, but a quick patch up with this has solved the leaks. Super cheap on Amazon (half of the price our local hardware store charges) so I’d say go for it. Comes in all different lengths and widths though, so make sure you get the right one!

Use it on a warm day. Applied in spring 2019 on large garden shed. The day was fairly warm, so it stuck easily to felt. I painted it over with Thompson’s roof seal after a week. It was preventative maintenance (shed roof was not leaking but felt developed tears after degrading under the hot English sun).
