Limitations

Prime porous surfaces with BLACK JACK BITUMEN AND FLASHING PRIMER.

Do not apply to damp surfaces.
In cold weather or storage conditions, adhesion may be reduced.
Bring up to temperature or heat bitumen adhesive layer with a hot air blower to improve adhesion.

Wear disposable gloves. Used this to repair a triple felted flat garage roof. The gales had lifted a corner and blown it back on itself cracking the layers of felt. I managed to lift ad push the corner back into position and repaired the 13 foot crack with the tape. Having not used such tape before I made pig’s ear with my first effort and the length had to be discarded.It sticks, to itself, easily and very firmly. Recommend not using this in windy conditions as it can flap and twist on itself. Do not take off…

I hoped it’d be better. I used it for fixing a flat shed roof, couldn’t get it stick, I hoped it’d be better.

Doesnt smell like most!! Used as a (cheap) sound dampener in my campervan! Does a great job, and doesn’t smell at all – unlike some others a tried!!
