He is very intelligent and learns tricks very quickly so I wanted to buy a few puzzles to keep him challenged and stimulate his brain. His first attempt took him around 2 mins and his fourth attempt in 20 seconds. I also have a 6 year old rotty and a pugalier so I thought that I’d test their skill at the puzzle. Potentially a great product but it has a weakness. My Welsh Collie and I were really happy with this puzzle. Ceio, was thrilled when he found he could open the windows and get a treat. He didn’t take long to work out the sliding and lever actions. This is a really great idea and is quite robust but it has an “achillies heel”. The neck of the lever is to narrow and weak for the possible power of the push from even a medium sized dog. In the case of my puzzle, Ceio played the game about six times before the lever snapped. Great activity toy Our boisterous spaniel pup loves this treat activity toy. Took her a while to master the lever (was just luck at first), and she still hasn’t mastered how to pull the red trays out (again, at the moment they come out more by luck than judgement on her part).
