So happy! I first saw this movie years ago under the title Stacey’s Knights, and it was just one of those films that stayed with me. It was only after I watched Silverado that it clicked who the young actor who made such an impression on me was. Kevin Costner is one of the best actors of his generation and its brilliant to be able to see this early role on DVD.If you enjoy this do try Fandango, which I’m so pleased to see has become a sort of minor cult classic, and which is now available on DVD as well.
Four Stars terrible film butgreat service
Worth a gamble An early role for Costner as a would be high roller who on spotting a very shy but extremely good card player, decides to take her under his wing. He transforms her into a more confident woman and an even stronger player. Whilst trying to turn the tables on the casinos things go from fun to a more serious tone. It’s worth taking a gamble on this film if only to see Costners potential as a younger upcoming actor.
